Alessandro Pizzin started out in the late ‘70s as one half of Italian experimental
duo, Ruins. Here we have Received: Selected Works 1981?-?1993, a collection of his solo
work. He started by taking inspiration from the Fluxus art movement and Japanese
ambient pioneer Hiroshi Yoshimura as he developed his own deep, rich collection of
sounds. Compiled by Incidental Music with Pizzin’s input.
Includes insert with comprehensive track-by-track notes and images.
